Albion Press (Pty) Ltd. of Cape Town are well known as General Commercial Printers, having specialised since our establishment in 1939, in larger volume printing, of a varied nature.
We
are
well
equipped
for
the
production
of
forms,
books,
folders,
ruled
paper
and
many
specialised
items,
on
a
wide
variety
of
papers
and
in
a
number
of
print
processes.
We
have

reel-to-sheet
web
machines
of
different
widths
and
cut-offs,
different
numbers
of
printing
units,
with
various
configurations
of
tinting,
numbering,
perforating
and
punching
units.
We
also
run
a
variety
of
flat
sheet
litho
and
letterpress
machines,
and
complete
repro
and
bindery
departments.
We
have
supplied
many
Government
and
parastatal
departments,
such
as
the
Government
Printer,
Spoornet,
Post
Office,
Police,
Telkom
and
all
Provincial
Administrations,
for
the
supply
to
Education,
Hospital,
Police,
Traffic,
Health
and
other
departments
on
a
tender
basis,
and
feel
confident
that
we
are
competitive,
and
reliable
manufacturers.
Having
also
worked
for
many
municipalities
around
the
country,
we
know
that
we
have
the
expertise
and
the
understanding
of
the
requirements
of
the
many
different
departments
in
each
of
these
sectors.
We
also
print
for
a
number
of
the
large
retail/Industrial
organisations
(Woolworths,
Pick
`n
Pay,
De
Beers,
Clicks,
Satra,
Fidelity
Guards)
and
two
of
the
largest
Banks
in
South
Africa,
where
quality
and
service
as
well
as
price
is
critical.
The
factory
runs
24-hour
shifts,
and
is
therefore
able
to
offer
good
service
and
delivery
around
the
country.
We
are
also
supplying
to
Malawi
and
Zambia,
items
of
a
sensitive
nature,
where
security
is
a
pre-requisite.
Our
staff
complement
is
40,
comprising
18
female
and
22
males,
who,
with
the
exception
of
5,
are
all
from
the
previously
disadvantaged
community.
The
majority
of
our
staff
have
a
long
association
with
the
company,
many
with
over
20
years,
some
with
30
years
plus.
We
are
also
Calendar
manufacturers,
represented
throughout
the
country,
offering
a
wide
range
of
designs
and
pictures,
specialising
in
the
requirements
of
the
retail
and
industrial
sectors.
